Is Game Gems free to play?

Yes — every quiz, game mode and daily challenge is free. There are no subscriptions or paywalls, and no real money is involved.

Do I need an account to play?

No. You can start instantly; your XP, streak, history and mistakes deck are saved for this device automatically. Sign in if you want to keep your progress across devices — your guest progress moves into your account.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Game Gems runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers — nothing to download.

How does scoring work?

Easy questions give 30 seconds and 100 points, Medium 20 seconds and 150 points, Hard 15 seconds and 200 points. Answering quickly adds a speed bonus of up to 50%, and answering several in a row adds a combo bonus of up to 50%.

How do XP and levels work?

Every finished game earns XP (about a tenth of your score, plus a bonus for a perfect round). Each level needs a little more XP than the last. Daily Challenge XP is multiplied by your streak — up to 2× on a 10-day streak.

What is a streak?

Your streak counts consecutive days on which you finished at least one game. Miss a day and it starts again from 1.
